We are recruiting for a
PEER SUPPORT WORKER – 10 HOURS PER WEEK
(Fixed term contract for 12 months)
Could you provide personal and practical support for refugees and asylum seekers in and around Chorley
Do you have lived experience of being a refugee or asylum seeker in the UK
Do you want to help others find their way through the refugee and asylum seeker process
You will need to
Work as part of the team to deliver practical peer support and assistance to our clients
Be responsible for providing professional person-centred support to our clients through direct engagement, working not only to resolve their issues but also to build their confidence and capacity over time.
Authorised to work in the UK and available to commence work in the next 4 weeks.
