The Centre in Hollinshead Street in Chorley has been a hub for community activity for over 75 years, helping the most vulnerable people in our community, including older people, people suffering isolation, people with learning disabilities, people affected by drug/alcohol abuse and the homeless.

Rooms for Hire
From the auditorium space of the Sanctuary, to meeting rooms and a mulitpurpose hall the Hollinshead Centre has rooms available for a variety of uses.
A Warm Hub
Over the autumn and winter The Meeting Place will continue to open two days a week offering a warm welcome – both literally and metaphorically.
Community Groups
The Hollinshead Centre hosts a range of community groups – Scouts & Guides, Alcoholics Anonymous, Chorley Safe Space, Chorley Repair Cafe and more.
Planned New Facilities
We have plans to refurbish and extend the Centre. The new building will have a central cafe and courtyard and will offer an up-to-date multipurpose community centre
